Expanding literacy access in Baltimore
Â鶹¹ÙÍø joined the Baltimore educational landscape in the 2011-12 school year with a mission to empower children to become lifelong readers. Since opening our first reading center in Friendship Academy at Cherry Hill, we continue to partner with schools, families, organizations, and community members to support students with the one-on-one reading support they deserve.

One of my students told me on the first day that she could not read. When she recently read by herself flawlessly, I reminded her of what she said and that she had just proven herself wrong. Her smile was priceless.
